How long have you been doing this?
I've been a full-time wedding photographer since 2014 and have had the pleasure of shooting hundreds of weddings in that time.
Where are you based and which areas do you cover?
I'm based in Chester, Cheshire, in the North West of England but I cover weddings across the whole of the UK and beyond.
Do you bring any back-up equipment?
Yes, I use two cameras on the day and bring plenty of lenses. Any photographer who takes their craft seriously should always carry sufficient back-up equipment.
Yes, I've worked with some wonderful suppliers over the years and I'm more than happy to offer recommendations to my couples if required.
How does the portrait shoot work on the wedding day?
At some point during your drinks reception, we'll take a little walk away from the crowd and spend a short time (20 mins or so) capturing some natural and relaxed couple shots. I am of course more than happy to offer a spot of direction here, but it'll be nothing cheesy or forced though, don't worry!
Will you take any formal group shots?
Formal group shot images are totally optional but yes, I am happy to take these if required. You may send me a list of up to 6 group combinations before the wedding day. This will be your "priority" list of groups and if more are required on the day, this may be possible, time permitting.
Do you need feeding on the day? Any dietary requirements?
As a wedding is a long and often non-stop working day for me, the offer of a (vegetarian) meal and soft drink served in a separate room to your wedding breakfast would be hugely appreciated, thanks so much!
How long will it be before we get our photos?
Each one of your wedding photos will be individually edited in my signature style and I work as hard as I can to make sure that your photos are ready as soon as possible without ever compromising on the quality. During my busiest times, please allow up to 4 weeks for digital delivery.
Please complete the form on my contact page and I will be sure to get back to you ASAP. To secure a date, I request a booking fee of £400. This booking fee amount is taken off your final balance, which must be settled no later than 8 weeks prior to the wedding date please.
Do we need to meet up before we book?
This isn't essential but I do understand if you'd like to meet up before committing to a booking. Meetings will take place in Chester, on weekdays or weekday evenings only. Please note that due to the amount of weddings that I shoot, I'm unable to offer weekend meetings.
How far in advance do we need to book you?
Most couples tend to book their photographer 1-2 years in advance of their wedding day, however, if your wedding is sooner, please do drop me an email to check availability ASAP.
Are you insured?
Yes, I have both professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
